Improve Your Credit Score
Improving your credit score can be a tortuous process that sucks up your precious time, energy and cash.
Okay, you’re probably thinking “yeah, no kidding – try walking a mile in my shoes”.
The fact is, I have walked a few miles in your shoes.
Before I started this blog, I had a credit score that was under 500 points.
I tried various different credit repair forums, non-profit credit improvement agencies, credit repair specialists, and the list goes on. I tried for over 6 months to get help improving my credit score, and all I ever got was more bills and a lot of hot air. The so-called experts I was talking to didn’t know any more about the process than I did.
Through many hours of research, I found several DIY step-by-step credit repair guides and programs online and within a couple of months, I had improved my credit scores by over 200 points, applied for and was approved for a low interest rate mortgage; and now I am currently in the process of closing on my first house.
I’ll give a short rundown on the basics of the programs here, and then follow up with detailed reviews in a couple days.
The 37 Days to Clean Credit guide is excellent for removing blemishes, write-offs, mis-reported items and late-pay records and inquiries from your credit report, as well as walking you through the exact processes you need to follow in order to do so.
Some of the items covered by the 37 Days to Clean Credit guide guide are :
- How to boost your credit limit with one phone call.
- How to delete late payment records from your credit report in days.
- Exact step-by-step walk through of how to negotiate debts with creditors, delete negative items and remove harmful inquiries.
Basically the 37 Days to Clean Credit guide is like a workbook that walks you through the exact steps required to write dispute letters, how to get your credit report for free and increase the credit limits on your existing credit cards.
The Credit Repair Magic system is a little different. Where the 37 Days to Clean Credit guide is more of a hands-on approach to correcting your credit report, the Credit Repair Magic system is more like a credit repair program that you use similar to how you would use Quicken or other Tax Preparation software to prepare your taxes.
Basically you open up the software, plug in some numbers, enter some additional information and press a few buttons – the software automatically does the majority of the work for you.
The highlights of the Credit Repair Magic system include:
- Automatic writing of credit dispute letters.
- Very little experience with computers or in credit related matters is required (as long as you can use a mouse, you are all set.)
- Updates every month so the program is as up to date as possible and the credit reporting agencies can’t catch on to the methods used by this system.
- Credit Dispute Tracker system – this little gem keeps track of the progress of all your dispute letters and sends a reminder to you so that you always know what the next step in the process is.
- Audio and Video training guides to show you the exact process to use, no matter what your exact credit situation.
As you can see, the two systems above accomplish the same goals, they just go about it slightly differently.
I would recommend the Credit Repair Magic system to those who want a push-button solution for their basic credit report cleanup, the very nature of a push button system means that it won’t work for every single situation out there however.
If you have already run a credit check on yourself and you know that you have multiple written off accounts, delinquencies, late payments and more, you may want to take the hands-on manual approach by selecting the 37 Days to Clean Credit guide .
No matter which system you choose, you will be amazed by the improvement in your credit score in just a few weeks time after using either one of the systems listed above.
